'Snickers' stuffed dates
Ingredients:
- medjool dates
- 2 Tablespoons peanut butter
- Handful of almonds
- ¼ cup chopped peanuts
- ½ cup milk chocolate chunks
Method:
- Slice halfway into each date and remove the pit.
- Stuff each date with ½ teaspoon a peanut butter and an almond
- Heat the chocolate and in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 15 second increments, stirring between each burst.
- Dip each date into melted chocolate and using a spoon, coat the date until it’s completely covered. Place chocolate covered date in your container lined with baking paper. Sprinkle peanuts on top of each date.
- Refrigerate the dates to allow the chocolate to set.
- Once chilled, enjoy your dates for up to a week.
White chocolate & pistachio stuffed dates
Ingredients:
- Medjool Dates
- 1 cup of white chocolate chunks
- ¼ cup crushed pistachios
Method:
- Slice halfway into each date and remove the pit.
- Heat the chocolate and in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 15 second increments, stirring between each burst.
- Once the chocolate has melted, stuff each date with ½ teaspoon of white chocolate and ½ teaspoon of pistachios.
- Using a fork, dip each date into melted chocolate and using a spoon, half coat the date.
- Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top of chocolate.
- Refrigerate the dates to allow the chocolate to set.
- Once chilled, enjoy your dates for up to a week.
Chocolate almond dates
Ingredients:
- Medjool Dates
- Handful of almonds
- ½ cup dark chocolate
- Slivered almonds
Method:
- Slice halfway into each date and remove the pit.
- Stuff each date with ½ teaspoon a peanut butter and an almond
- Heat the dark chocolate and in a microwave safe bowl and melt in the microwave in 15 second increments, stirring between each burst.
- Using a fork, dip each date into melted chocolate and then using a spoon, coat the date until it’s completely covered. Place chocolate covered date in your container lined with baking paper. Place slivered almond on your chocolate covered date.
- Refrigerate the dates to allow the chocolate to set.
- Once chilled, enjoy your dates for up to a week.
