Pantry Organisation 101

1. Clean the shelves
It sounds super simple but pulling out all items and cleaning all the shelves to remove any spillage that may have occurred is the best place to start when organising your kitchen.

2. Use modular storage containers
Using modular storage containers allows you to utlisise every inch of space in your pantry. The Stack & Store range is perfect for stacking items if you have tall shelving or even drawer space.

3.Label Everything
Labeling containers and shelves can save you time and prevent confusion. Use clear labels to mark the contents and expiration dates of items.

4. First In, First Out
When filling your pantry, place newer items behind older ones. This ensures that you use older items first, reducing the risk of items expiring and minimising food waste.

5. Regularly Check and Rotate Stock
Periodically review the contents of your pantry to identify items that are nearing their expiration dates. Use these items in your meals to avoid waste and replace them with fresh stock. The first step is to go through and start throwing away food that is either stale, expired, or simply won't ever be eaten. Donate food & unused items where possible.

By following these tips, you can maintain a well-organised and efficient pantry that saves you time and money while reducing food waste.
