Maple Spiced Nuts
Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 1 cup each peanuts, cashews, walnuts, almonds
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch cloves
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray.
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook on low heat until bubbly and slightly thickened.
- Spread the mixture across the baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure nothing burns.
- Wait for the nuts to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
